Uninstall | Nomploy

Follow these steps to completely remove Nomploy and its components (Nomad, Consul, Traefik and WireGuard) from your server.

This permanently removes Nomploy, its control-plane services and all of its data. Back up anything you need first.

Stop and purge the Nomploy Nomad jobs (the panel and any apps you deployed):

nomad job stop -purge nomploy 2>/dev/null || true
for job in $(nomad job status -short 2>/dev/null | awk 'NR>1 {print $1}'); do
  nomad job stop -purge "$job" 2>/dev/null || true
done

Remove the Traefik container:

docker rm -f nomploy-traefik 2>/dev/null || true

Stop and disable the control-plane services:

sudo systemctl disable --now nomad consul nomploy-registry-auth dnsmasq wg-quick@wg0 2>/dev/null || true

Bring down the WireGuard overlay:

sudo wg-quick down wg0 2>/dev/null || true

Remove Nomploy's configuration and data directories:

sudo rm -rf /etc/nomploy \
  /etc/nomad.d /opt/nomad \
  /etc/consul.d /opt/consul \
  /etc/consul-template.d \
  /etc/wireguard/wg0.conf /etc/wireguard/hub_priv /etc/wireguard/hub_pub \
  /etc/systemd/system/nomploy-registry-auth.service \
  /etc/systemd/system/consul.service.d
sudo systemctl daemon-reload

Optional: clean up any leftover Docker resources:

docker system prune --all --volumes --force

Multi-node clusters: run the same steps on every node. Worker and extra server nodes don't run the nomploy panel job, so you can skip step 1 there — stopping the services (step 3) and removing the directories (step 5) is enough to detach and clean them.
